Some Band news:

The Mock Heroic will record new material in January 07. i am super stocked about this, and yall should be as well! all kids who've seen em on this years Cry me a River know what to expect! the new songs SHHHREEDDDD!! they will be touring the UK early with Catena Collapse in march and will hopefully head over to mainland europe again in the summertime.

Am I Dead Yet as well as Utarid broke up a while ago. :(

Her Breath On Glass have an amazing split 12" with championship out now. and a split with danse macabre. i am sad i missed em on their mini-eurotour this summer.

ok, a whole lotta news to tell. first things first: we'll have a baby!!! hanna is pregnant and delivery will be in late october!!!!! wow! this was pretty much a surprise for us, but we're suuuuper happy with it. so amazing! plus, we're planning to get married now, in june... so, we have lotta work to do, lotsa things to plan...... i apoplogize for all the unanswered emails and all that stuff, but i am just too busy right now with all the wediing preperations.... sorry!

happy new year everyone! first news of the new year: nimbus module records will co-release the HER BREATH ON GLASS full length album together with react with protest, ramen factory and the band itself.
you should know hbog from their excellent split 7" with we are corpses, and if you missed that one, you most likely can imagine what to expect if i tell you that this is the new band of andy maddox of saddest lanscape and last 40 seconds fame.
what else? yes, the distrolist is updated again and finally re-united with react with protest records for a massive mailorder attac!!

cheap marketing, eh ? i havent updated the distrolist yet, but i have copies of the raein 12" on stock now, as well as new records by night and the city of broken promisises (amazing city of caterpillarish band from wales) , violent breakfast and laghetto (italian screamy emoviolence) and the s/t cd from antithesis (grinding hc/metal for fans of converge, majrule and daughters)

nevertheless: the asthma attaq 7" will see the light of the day soon!! expect this baby early 2006. this will be awesome!!

another distro update, both the xls file and the html version have been updated. i am running low on apoplexy 12"es as well as on mock heroic 7"es, so better hurry up if you STILL don't have em!!!

it's only 9 days after the last update, but i have great news to tell:

i am more than happy to anounce that we will release a 7" for floridas ASTHMA ATTTAQ!! they kinda sound like a mix betwenn lightning bold and shotmaker.. i fell in love with them instantly when i first listened to their split lp with dirty south apocalypse on forever escaping boredom. this 7" might happen propably in late december, early january....

also, mexicos finest emo violence outfit ARSE MOREIRA agreed to release their first full length on nimbus. they have splits with beneath low flying planes, cease upon the capitol and ioma prieta out now or in the next month.

and, of course, what yall waiting for: THE MOCK HEROIC 12". these lazy english twats will be locked in their rehearsal room the whole winter to be forced to write new material for this ;) it will be amazing, i am sure.

here we go again. long time no update, i have to apologize for that. we came back from the mock heroic / a fine boat that coffin tour last week which was soo much fun. thanks a lot to everyone who made this becoming such an amazing experience, especially to the guys in the mock heroic. we love you!!!

When I first saw Mock Heroic they were all over the shop. 5 songs in 10 minutes with barely a discernable difference or coherent structure. It was interesting but ultimately didn't really register. Then I saw them again, a couple of months later. And my jaw dropped. Same band? Surely not! Gone was the mess of noise, and in its place a hideously tight machine fronted by a bare chested Adonis drummer, pouring forth his guts and heart whilst 3 unassuming boys managed to thrash their guitars into chaotic melodies and grooves. I was hooked. These dudes were on fire. The show in Leeds with La Quiete, Catena Collapse and Yelp of Sords was the icing on the cake. Mock Heroic had arrived. And then barely two months later, this 7", resplendent in its mid 90's emo envelope drops. And we're not ready for it.
4 songs are on here and the Heroic just blaze through them one by one by one by one. AND ITS OFF THE MOCKING HOOK! Unhinged drumming, screamed vocals, and guitars and bass that refuse to let up. Until when it actually does let up and they get their breathe back during your common or garden downbeat emo jazz noodle. Yet you just know they are going to roar back with more bellowing and broken guitar strings. You'd be pissed off if they didn't. The first track does exactly this. REALLY FAST - JAZZ JIZZ - EVEN FASTER AND LESS COHESIVE. Class. Before speeding into the second song in the same fashion, barely keeping everything glued together by the sound of it. Flipping it over for a song I didn't recognise initially, but it keeps the style of being spazz monsters then jazz monsters. I love the emo violence parts of this song, its completely ramshackle with dual vocals just punishing my face. SLAP! The guitars careen and bounce off each other dangerously. Final song has just the coolest intro, one guitar bubbles away then the funny sounding tinpot drums come in, and the great strained vocals, and its just spot on. This is the most melodic of the bands efforts and it is sublime, though they still remember to play the second half of the song much more erratically whilst falling over and screaming so as not to disappoint the moany skrams in the audience. PLAY NUMB! Fucking killer 7"

wow, sorry for the delay, i had some serious cpu probs... viruses, spy ware and all that shit... anyway, i got everything fixed again, so here we go: some dope new shit in the distro section. the mock heroic 7"es are here BUT i still wait for the covers. should be here within the next week. the mock heroic will go on a mini tour in april, check the bands-section for the dates. pluuus, a 4 way split 12" is planned with utarid (malaysia), am i dead yet (belgium), a fine boat, that coffin (germany) and your lovely british faves from the mock heroic. sounds pretty awesome, huh ?

JUST got the mock heroic master cd, and it sounds great!! coverartwork will be a neat DIY silkscreen thingee... this baby should be out next month, i'll keep you informed. we are also working on a small mock heroic summer tour, hopefully everything will work out fine.... meanwhile, make sure to go to their shows in the UK together with la quiete and catena collapse.

uuuhh... there are rumours (hehe) of a new band with former apoplexy twist orchestra members. keep your fingers crossed.
some more band related news: what once was calling gina clark is now a fine boat, that coffin. AFBTC consist of all three members of the last cgc recordings (dispensing of false halos split 7") plus chris of apoplexy twist / arsen on second guitar, who already played guitar on the last cgc UK tour this summer. so, don't expect any greater changes in the style of music. just a new name and a more "wall of sound" guitar sound. new 12" will be out early 2005 on react with protest.
the mock heroic will be entering the studio around xmas for the upcoming 7" plus a track for the "emo armageddon" compilation, which will be out early 05 (rwp) as well as their debut record. be prepared, this will be sweeeeet!

i am very happy to anounce that nimbus module will release the debut 7" of UK newcomers the mock heroic!! they haven't been around for a long time but have already made themselves a good name by playing a couple of shows all over england and took the kingdom by storm (... huhu.. cheesy!). anyway, if you like emotional, yet technical and somehow jazzy hardcore in the vein of off minor, portrait and bob tilton, keep your eyes open for the mock heroic !! an unmastered preview mp3 of an untitled track can be found under "bands".
